Unveiled at the recent Los Angeles Auto Show, the compact sedan will be all-new and available in early 2019, as part of our automaker's exciting "Sustainable Zoom-Zoom 2030" long-term vision. So, what do we have to look forward to? Information's limited presently, but the experts here at Patrick Mazda know a few things.

For one, Mazda3 will represent an evolved KODO design, the guiding vision of Japanese aesthetics and craftsmanship excellence that sees a car and its environment as an organic whole. Expect Mazda to eliminate nearly every character line, relying almost entirely on a natural body curvature that reflects your driving surroundings -- the ultimate in sleek and elegant proportions. Moreover, we can look forward to our automaker's hallmark intuitive handling feel, and one more human-centric than ever. In fact, Mazda based it, just as it has for many years, on a thorough scientific study of human dynamics, showcased in practice in a slate of all-new SKYACTIV-Vehicle Architecture technologies, which deliver reduced noise, vibration, and hardness.

Far from finally, the latest Mazda3 will have an eye to optimizing energy dynamics, on that note, building in a revolutionary new SKYACTIV-X gas engine in 1.5-, 2.0- and 2.5-liter variants. There will also be a SKYACTIV-D 1.8-liter diesel engine available, along with a new intelligent M Hybrid system, enhanced predictive i-ACTIV AWD, mainstays like G-Vectoring Control Plus, and the celebrated i-ACTIVSENSE driver-assistance suite.

Best of all, we can expect the driving experience to come together in a "vanishing point" interior concept. The car's seamless, sweeping cabin will put you, the driver, at the center of it all, with cockpit features, like the Active Driving Display, 8.8-inch infotainment system, optimized eight- and available 12-speaker audio network, and other controls, in horizontal symmetry.

Needless to say, we're excited. Stay tuned here for details. In the meantime, you're welcome to stop by our 70 Gold Star Boulevard showroom in Worcester, where we'll be happy to introduce you to the Mazda difference with a ride in a new 2018 Mazda3. We look forward to seeing you soon!
