Mazda CX-90.pngWhile there are many excellent Mazda SUV models on the market right now, several more are on the way. Here is a sneak peek at two exciting models that are coming out soon.

MAZDA CX-90

The Mazda CX-90 is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine that includes a 48-volt hybrid system. In the base model, this produces 280 horsepower, and this increases to 340 horsepower in upper trims.

A plug-in hybrid model will also be available, and its inline four-cylinder engine, electric motor, and 17.8-kWh battery pack will combine to generate 323 horsepower. This will have an all-electric driving range of around 30 miles. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard.

With a second-row bench seat, up to eight people will fit in the cavernous Mazda CX-90. It also comes with many standard tech and safety features, including:

  • 10.3-inch infotainment system touchscreen
  • Apple CarPlay®
  • Android Auto™
  • Eight-speaker stereo
  • Automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Adaptive cruise control

MAZDA CX-70

The Mazda CX-70 is expected to have the same powertrain options as the Mazda CX-90, and this includes a plug-in hybrid variant that will have an electric-only driving range of up to 39 miles.

This two-row SUV offers room for up to five people, and it will come standard with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, along with lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring.
